It sometimes feels almost impossible as a human being to adjust to the speed of change especially when you're evolving yourself. You don't always have time to absorb integrate and process what's going on with us in our busy lives.
It's an ongoing challenge for one's growth and intellectual and emotional well-being in this Life we live.
I've been reading a lot about the emotional well-being of cognition.
" the mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses "
Neuroscience tells us now that learning, cognition and intellectualization has a direct link to emotionality and is intertwined. Our emotional states are connected to our hearts are other organs and also our, gut biome " bacterial intelligence " and all together are possibly managed,. " possibly "
by our brains or should I say possibly organized by our brains.
Putting together information from the outside world as stimuli and also from our inside world in our bodies themselves.
So our capacity to pay attention and to learn have a lot to do with what's happening internally on the visceral and emotional level.
What we call our gut feelings.
And in this society where people are becoming less and less connected to their gut feelings &
Because of that disconnection between ourselves and the external world we can have less focus and engagement with it.
This affects our ability to be present and in essence change and learn.
How many of us have had a gut feeling forced ourselves to ignore it and then regretted it later many of us.
This is a byproduct of a society that cuts us off from out internal instincts or feelings.
We're mostly medicated in one way shape or form through prescription drugs, self-medicated legal addictions and our lack of living with nature.
Being told that we need to control our emotions and not feel anything in order to be successful and stable.
In essence a lie to control us, be more productive and just blindly Tow the line.
I've always known and felt that it's okay to feel stuff I tell people that everyday feel what you need to feel . Use it to manage and create a loving productive creative life of your choosing. I am doing this and more and learning how to balance all of it.
Feelings and emotion have a purpose they are real and should not be ignored.
I will say it's hard to get used to it's kind of like never wearing sunglasses on the brightest day you've ever walked outside.
It can overwhelm ones senses..
Like sensory overload for a dog out on a walk sniffing everything it can find.
Depriving your feelings and emotions will definitely affect your ability to reason, make good decisions , effect your social behaviour and of course our creativity.
Our medical community historically is amazingly good at creating new diagnosis that label people. Handing out medications to people that don't need it to control behavior especially in kids.
Controlling behavioral conditions has dominated psychology and psychiatry for years now.
When actually behaviour that is not understood is because children do not possess the words to Express themselves and carries itself forward till we are adults.
And no matter how we've been raised as adults we don't understand ourselves very well sometimes. We don't intellectually possess the correct language to communicate how we feel and think and and what that means to us.
More than likely there is just something happening in our lives that undermines our ability to socially interact well, pay attention or be present, to have an emotional regulation that's in our control. So we need to regulate our stresses in life in a healthy way.
Stress in our external world & the environment that we live in today is or can be a direct cause of most of our emotional instability, fear , anxiety and so on.
So the ability to control stress and our environment gives us the ability to respond and not react to life.
Giving us the ability to adapt and create tools inside of Us to survive lifes stresses, create good health, encompassing the ability to learn and change and having good adaptation and social relationships.
We now know the direct link between our emotional states and stress and the ability to control this will make us live longer.
It it will improve the quality of life and the longevity of it so I believe it's a win-win.
I'm still learning about all of this how it affects me things that I can learn to become the most balanced human being I possibly can and live a good life.
It's an amazing journey with eyes wide open instead of wide shut.
So surround yourself with people that let you be you....
It's the greatest gift anyone can give you and most of all you give yourself.
Enjoy your journey folks peace and love
From me to you.
